Master Keying

Master keying is commonly used in commercial and public buildings where a single key (known as a "Master Key") will open all doors within the building.

Individual keys (known as "Servant Keys") are used for offices and given to office workers.

Key groups can also be created that open a selection of doors. These key groups are operated by a key known as the "Sub-Master Key"

You can also have all keys in a building fitting a common entry door (eg: Front Door).

TO DIFFER

Cylinder or mortice key locks are operable by their own individual servant key only.

TO PASS (keyed alike)

All locks are operable by the same servant key.
